Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Goal is obtaining knowledge at removing buildings by the help of new methods with using of mechanical technology and by the help of explosives. Valorize state of object, analyze mistakes in construction and resolve method of demolition and building waste usage.

Summary

The students are introduce with building and technical resarch for assement of buildings-brick masonry, concrete masonry, stone masonry and steel buildings. Purposeful guide for recognize of degradation impact on building materials testing and value of defect building object. The students are introduce with demolition buildings hand and machine technology and technology of exposive and destructive works. Also will the students introduce with metodology of recycling and utilization building easte.

Subject syllabus:

Lectures: [1] Construction and engineering research. [2] The life of buildings in terms of age. [3] The life of buildings load. [4] The life of structures and external influences. [5] Evaluation of masonry structures [6] Demolition and masonry structures. [7] Mechanical Technology and blasting technology for masonry structures. [8] The evaluation of concrete structures degradation influences on concrete structure. [9] Demolition and reinforced concrete structures. [10] Demolition of prefabricated buildings. [11] The evaluation of steel structures, corrosive influences. [12] The demolition of steel structures, bridges and towers. [13] The digging and drilling work for the preparation of demolition blasting. [14] Recycling of construction waste. Exercise: [1] Proposals for construction blasting, construction of buildings. [2] Proposals for blasting in mining and quarrying.
