Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Goal is to span theoretical and practical knowledge about techniques explosive works and their use in practice. After constitution of “explosive expert” examination in front of Czech mining office board ,absolvents may work in functions such as fireman, leader of tearing works in mining organizations or at demolition of building objects.

Summary

The subject introduce The students of branch of building materials with aplication of explosive and drilling technologie in building industry, in geting building raw materials and house - breaking. Stdents will be introduce with blaster agents, calculation of plasting charge and technologye of explosive system and drilling system. Past of teachning is legislation of plasting works.

Other requirements

At least 70% attendance at the exercises. Absence, up to a maximum of 30%, must be excused and the apology must be accepted by the teacher (the teacher decides to recognize the reason for the excuse). Requirements can be specified and supplemented by the teacher at the beginning of the semester. Tasks assigned on the exercises must be hand in within the dates set by the teacher.

Subject syllabus:

Lecture: 1st Means blasting technique - composition explosives. 2nd Methods of firing. 3rd Use of firing. 4th Physical characteristics of explosives. 5th Chemical characteristics of explosives. 6th Thermodynamic characteristics of explosives. 7th The explosive disintegration of rock transformation mechanism of building materials. 8th Firings methods. 9th Types of blasting - masonry structures. 10.Types of blasting - concrete structures. 11.Types of blasting - steel structures. 12.Minig area. 13.Legislation. 14.Legislation of demolition works Exercise: 1st Proposals blasting of building construction works. 2nd Proposals for blasting in mining and quarrying.
