Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Aim of the course is to acquaint students with a mined underground workings, which are implemented in emergency geotechnical conditions and methods of construction of underground objects that technical parameters and to exploit lies outside the standard of underground workings. Here is one example. Utilities, pipelines etc., Whose implementation is in principle methods differ from traditional methods of underground construction. The program includes also the technology of vertical excavation pits. The course builds on the subject of "rock and soil mechanics" and "underground construction". This course expands expertise in the issue, which is the standard filling degree course "underground construction". Graduates geotechnical profiles and prepares the business of designing and implementing a wide range of underground structures.

Summary

Systematics implementation methods for overcoming the complex natural and technical conditions for the construction of underground workings. Methods primary adverse changes in natural conditions leading to their complete or partial elimination. Technical procedures for overcoming difficult circumstances. Powered shoring, shielding, extrusion, micro-tunneling, trenchless technology, freezing, kesonování, drainage, rehabilitation and reconstruction of underground works and utilities. The course is also forecasting methods and procedures to eliminate the negative effects and impacts in the rock environment. In the second part of the course deals stamping and digging pits and manholes. Introduces výztužními designs for dredging equipment and construction sites with Pit. It considers both the classical drilling and excavation blasting and drilling issue pits and large diameter boreholes. Part of the issue is also blind digging pits and śibikā, stamping vertical chimneys, deepening and widening the jam. Knowledge and skills gained by completing the course: Students are introduced to the problems, familiar with the basics of the field, relevant knowledge and permanent current state of the extent and depth of knowledge that is sufficient for the successful launch of active work in that field, and makes them more self-deepening and extension.

Subject syllabus:

1. Introduction, characteristics of complex conditions (natural, human, technical and organizational) principles, structure and outline implementation procedures for underground construction in difficult conditions. 2. Realization of underground works under the protection of compressed air - kesonování. Freezing third. Fourth needling driven shoring, excavation contour, shielding, embossed. 5th microtunnelling, horizontal drilling, trenchless technology. 6th backfilling of underground works, sluicing underground works. 7. Environmental impacts of subsurface underground workings, their prognosis and prevention. 8. The technology is sinking. The flume construction site. 9th Reinforces constructions, material parameters. 10. Classical digging pits and manholes. 11th deepening, broadening jam. Digging blind jam. 12th Drilling jam. 13. Special dredging technology. 14th expert presentation - case histories. Exercise: 1. Preparation and submission of the study implementation of the construction works in horizontal underground complex nature of technical conditions (individual for each student). Speeches and information on a given topic on exercises. 2. Complex technology design excavation conventional technology in simplified geotechnical conditions: - design type and parameters with welded construction - technological procedure of blasting during excavation - fixing machinery and calculation of technological times major operation with the digging cycle (drilling, blasting, was cleared of muck, reinforcing and equipping pit) - auxiliary operations (separate ventilation, air management, water pumping). Programs: 1. Study the construction of a horizontal underground workings mined in difficult geotechnical conditions. 2. Proposal traditional technology excavation or manholes. Multimedia aids used for teaching: Expert commentary on the course is supported by audio-visual means. Standard, constantly used tool is the overhead projector for projection transparent originals (film). Teaching complements casual presentation video recordings, with the aim of documenting lectured problems real facts.
