By completing the Geotechnical Laboratory, the student will be able to determine the basic soil features (which are essential for geotechnical calculations) or the parameters essential for assessing the extent of the rock mass treatment, based on laboratory and field tests.

Summary

Předmět se zabývá praktickými měřeními, která se nejčastěji používají při průzkumných pracích za účelem stanovení vlastností zemin v laboratorních i terénních podmínkách. Předmět tímto navazuje na laboratorní praxi, kterou studenti získali v předmětu Mechanika hornin a zemin. Cílem tohoto předmětu je rozšířit nabyté zkušenosti a praktické dovednosti v oboru stanovování geotechnických charakteristik zeminového prostředí o terénní zkoušky a další pokročilejší laboratorní měření. Cvičení jsou věnována nejen samotnému provádění zkoušek a měření, ale i jejich vyhodnocení a interpretaci naměřených dat. V rámci terénních měření a zkoušek se studenti seznámí s půdním denzitometrem, statickou zatěžovací zkouškou, lehkou dynamickou deskou a lehkou dynamickou penetrací. V laboratorních podmínkách se seznámí s přípravou rekonstituovaných vzorků, upřesní metodiku pro stanovení fyzikálních a popisných vlastností zemin za účelem klasifikace zemin pro inženýrské účely, absolvují zkoušku CBR (Kalifornský poměr únosnosti), zkoušku IBI (Okamžitá hodnota kalifornského poměru únosnosti), modifikovanou Proctorovu zkoušku, zkoušku propustnosti zemin a triaxiální zkoušku.
