Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Students will learn to formulate geotechnical task and explain the principles and process solutions. He can decide the feasibility of geometric and geotechnical input parameters of mathematical models. They will learn to evaluate and interpret the results of the solution, consider the boundaries of warning states the conclusions and recommend next steps for the solution.

Summary

Obsahem předmětu jsou postupy, které jsou používány při analýze stability svahových struktur. Při oceňování stability svahů je kladen důraz na přístup k řešení daného úkolu, který je v zásadě dvojí. Inženýrský přístup, který využívá ke stanovení bezpečného sklonu svahu znalostí inženýrsko-geologických poměrů horninového masivu. Vlastní výpočty bývají co možná nejjednudušší a vycházejí z malého počtu fyzikálních a mechanických vlastností. Geotechnický přístup naproti tomu vychází z matematických modelů, které popisují napěťový stav a deformační poměry v celé horninové struktuře. Obsahem předmětu jsou rovněž metody sanace svahových deformací a zásady a instrumentace geotechnického monitoringu při kontrolním sledování chování svahů.
