Subject syllabus:

1) Advanced constitutional modelling of soil and rock materials, approaches and methods for setting parameters of advanced constitutive models of soil and rock materials 2) Modelling of couple hydro-mechanical or thermo-hydro-mechanical geotechnical problems 3) Modelling of the response of geotechnical structures exposed to dynamic loads (influences of traffic, influence of the mine-induced seismicity, etc.) 4) Modelling in discontinuitous environment characterised by interaction of blocks and contacts (e.g. rock walls) 5) Approaches to modelling of broken zones in the vicinity of underground and mining works 6) Stochastic simulation methods (Monte Carlo Method, Latin Hyperube Sampling, etc.) 7) Methods of sensitivity and optimization analysis
