The aim of the subject Project I. is to teach students to apply the knowledge gained in already completed previous study.

Project work

Summary

Within the subject Project I., students will apply the knowledge gained in already completed previous study. Students, led by teachers, will elaborate the construction part of project for building construction on a building according to specific assignment. It may be a residential building (for example apartment house, low-energy apartment house, hostel), civic amenities building (for example house of culture, department store, medical center, administrative building, elementary school, hotel etc.) or industrial building (for example factory building). The project will be in accordance with Decree No. 268/2009 Coll. and the binding normative regulations listed in the literature.

Other requirements

At least 70% attendance at the exercises. Absence, up to a maximum of 30%, must be excused and the apology must be accepted by the teacher (the teacher decides to recognize the reason for the excuse). Tasks assigned on the exercises must be hand in within the dates set by the teacher. Requirements for the student in the case of an individual study plan: At least 50% participation in the exercises, submission of the assigned project.

Subject syllabus:

Syllabus of seminar: 1. to 5.: Work on the study of the given building: Floor plans of each floor, sections, views (M: 1:100). 6 to 14: Work on the project for building construction of the given building: Floor plans of each floor, foundations, sections, roof, and views (M: 1:50). The project also contains thermal-technical assessment of perimeter constructions of the building, building envelope energy label and assessment of acoustic properties of constructions. 15. Credit.
