Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of the subject is to provide basic knowledge of the preservation of monuments, especially from the technical point of view based on basic knowledge of architecture and legislation. Curriculum: 1. Static defects and ways of rehabilitation. 2. Wet masonry and ways of rehabilitation. 3. The question of heat from the technical point of view. 4. Wooden ceiling constructions. Constructions of roof timbers bellś stand. 5. Surface modifications. Ancient plaster. Facade paint. 6. Sacral buildings. 7. Folk architecture.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

V rámci jednotlivých cvičení budou studenti samostatně zpracovávat programy týkající se určité, právě probírané problematiky. Ty pak budou předkládat vedoucímu cvičení ke kontrole. Na základě řádně vypracovaných a vedoucím cvičení zkontrolovaných všech zadaných programů bude udělen zápočet.

At least 70% attendance at the exercises. Absence, up to a maximum of 30%, must be excused and the apology must be accepted by the teacher (the teacher decides to recognize the reason for the excuse). Tasks assigned on the exercises must be hand in within the dates set by the teacher.
