Subject syllabus:

Two-day introduction to the architecture of Brno. 1. First Brno functionalist. Fair tour of Brno after famous functionalist buildings Bohuslav Fuchs ( railway post office, municipal baths , Hotel Avion, Zeman café) , Ernst Wiesner (Moravian Bank , Palace Moravia, Czech Radio building ), Joseph Kranz (cafe Era ). Visit Villa Tugendhat functionalist and known colony of New House in Žabovřesky . 2. Brno 70th years in the compact sets of family housing Neighborhood houses on the hill in Brno, Palacký Žabovřesky and set houses on the street in Brno Trays Chimneys Jaromir Zlámal . 3. currently Brno Visit a few famous buildings from the current Brno architects : Ian Frank (family house on Red Hill , a house with a studio on Stone ) Peter Hrusa ( administrative center of Trinity , Brno House of Arts , Denis set) , architects and Křivinka Burian ( Faculty of Information Technology - Božetěchova ), studio DRNH ( Reduta Wannieck gallery ) , architects of Cuba and Pilar ( Omega Palace at Freedom Square , Library Faculty of Arts ).
