Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Exercise Architectural Composition II builds on the subject of architectural composition and I used to closer acquaintance with compositional principles , verification and test their applications in their own proposals. Through complex spatial models , students deepen compositional principles and deal with their effects in the architectural space. The course leads to a deeper perception of architecture , understanding of the main concepts of composition based on analyzes of surface , spatial and color composition in architecture, historical and contemporary . Students learn compositional principles first locate and define the appropriate examples and then applied to specific spatial compositional tasks - creating overwrite the existing composition into new forms .
Architectural spatial compositional tasks are focused on the effect of architectural composition and compositional categories - composition open, closed , static and dynamic. Students in their proposals apply harmonization means and methods of composing songs such as symmetry , asymmetry , rhythm , gradation and contrast as a means of expression , nuance , scale , proportion, color , structure , tectonics and stereotomie . The aim of the exercise is to solve tasks in a larger whole.
Exercise of architectural composition students prepare a presentation to the required architectural designs. Students get acquainted with by drawing a pattern, using tools , materials and techniques.
