Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim of the course is also to understand the principles necessary for the design of contemporary works and the ability to interpret the parameters of individual buildings with regard not only to their importance and function (housing, amenities, production, etc.).

Summary
The syllabus of the course is a continuation of the previous courses History of Architecture and Urbanism I - V and complements them appropriately. The lecturer emphasizes the understanding of architectural work in the second half of the 20th century with regard to the different political and economic developments in the world and finally the current contemporary work.
Knowledge of contemporary architecture is needed for the work of an architect and civil engineer and its acquisition requires professional training.
