Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim of the course is to prepare students for an architectural design studio work in subsequent semesters.
The course develops students‘ active creative abilities on a simple architectural tasks and the ability to understand the process of creating an architectural design. At the same time, students learn to present their own work with different techniques, to create and defend their own opinions, to collaborate, to perceive and to evaluate the work of others.

Summary
Architectural Design Studio ZAN 2 is a course with an architectural studio type of teaching where students are taught working on basic tasks to understand the development of architectural design and its interpretation. ZAN 2 deepens students' abilities for creative work in the following architecture design studios. It leads them to develop a creative approach, understanding spatial and functional relationships and space orientation.
