Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Architectural typology 3 teaches the basic conceptual structure of the field of typology and fire safety, whose knowledge enables students to process new information and integrate it into context. Knowledge is
a prerequisite for their own creative work in follow-up studio work. Students will acquire orientation in basic typology of given building species in connection with historical and social changes
and needs. The following block of lectures provides basic information on requirements for fire safety design of buildings.

Lectures
Summary
At the lectures of Architectural typology 3, students learn about the basics of the typological aspects of individual types of buildings with regard to their cultural and technical significance and influence on the quality of the built environment. Individual topics are referenced in historical, typological and operational contexts, including valid standards and regulations.
The following lectures address the basic requirements of fire safety design of buildings.
