Lectures

Summary

At the beginning, students are introduced to the general ecological requirements within the urbanized space and then to the forms of so-called passive ecology. In the next phase, attention is paid to current and future trends in energy generation, whether solar or other alternative heat sources. From these introductory cycles of lectures and on the basis of the following lectures on the most interesting realizations in the Czech Republic and in the world, the ways, forms and trends that the architect should follow in designing ecological architecture are drawn. These are mainly the authors Herzog, Reingerg and others who have published remarkable publications dealing with forms of ecological architecture. In their concept, ecological aspects greatly change the traditional form of architecture. An integral part of the lectures is education towards ecological behavior within the society, household and social ecological trends.
