Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Students will acquire basic knowledge and skills in road construction. In identifying individual student gains entry skills to formulate problems, to form a design, apply the obtained knowledge and skills in solving the traffic problems.

Summary

Classes and categories of roads; clear sight conditions; location of roads; formation; structure of the pavement; intersections of routes; turning area; lay-bys and parking lots; geometric track layout; constant resistance route; structure gauge; railway superstructure; track intersection; switches; railway stations; track systems of industrial plants; geotechnical surveys for transportation structures; subsoil water regime; ground unit of transportation structures; drainage; culverts; bridges; walls; tunnels; galleries; noise protection; railway and road crossing; waterway.
