Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The objective of this subject is analyse of inputs data for roads design. Also students get deep knowledge about designing roads and highways optimal parameters.

Subject syllabus:

Lectures: • Designing roads and highways • layout of roads • The cross slope of road surface roads and highways • Use of computer technology in designing roads and highways • Design of PC in terms of integration into the landscape • Aesthetics PC Requirements • Drainage of roads and highways • Special treatment of drainage • Objects on roads and highways • Walls on roads and highways • Natural Body Design • Distribution of materials on the route • Safety Equipment Exercises: • Project assignment, route selection of the map base • The design of directional routing road • Design height routing road • Technical evaluation of proposals for transport routes, road • Width road layout, a cross-section • Route choice for simplified project • Assembly drawing of the longitudinal profile • Assembly drawing of the situation • Completion of the project
