Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The goal is to give students basic information about the problems of traffic structures, with an emphasis on transport networks in urban environments.
After graduating student is able to describe and solve fundamental problems in the design of roads, local roads and intersections, urban rail transport, bus stops, interchanges and related structures.
Students will acquire basic skills to formulate problems, assemble basic design, apply knowledge and skills in solving elementary tasks from the problems of traffic structures.

Summary
This course provides basic information about the problems of traffic structures, with an emphasis on transport networks in urban environments.
Attention is devoted to the design of roads and local roads and intersections, urban
rail transport, bus stops, interchange nodes and related structures.
Monitored is also influence by rail, water and air transport on environment and development. In this context, students are introduced to the drainage problem of traffic structures.
The learning process is used by software programs, video and DVD equipment.
