Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim of the course is to gain basic skills in designing of traffic buildings in the form of the project. After graduating student can describe and solve basic problems in range of traffic engineering or in tracing, construction and modernization of rail road tracks including Point switch point and switch structures, design of foundation, supporting designs related structures.
The student acquires the skill to formulate problems, to form a basic design, applying knowledge and skills to solve simple problems in traffic engineering or in designing buildings for the railway infrastructure.

Summary
In this course will be solved semestral works focused on the construction of rail transport and transport solutions within the specialization Traffic Engineering.
Students will be introduced to the general demands of the methodology and solutions resulting work - presentation of a formal presentation text, spreadsheets, computational and graphical part. During the semester there will be consulted for unfinished projects.

Other requirements
At least 70% attendance at the exercises. Absence, up to a maximum of 30%, must be excused and the apology must be accepted by the teacher (the teacher decides to recognize the reason for the excuse). Tasks assigned on the exercises must be hand in within the dates set by the teacher.

Subject syllabus:
Processing issues specified by the railway construction project - after familiarization with the project documentation, followed by treatment assignment, which contains eg digitization of documents, delivery status of the specified documents, draft directional solution (calculation of elements of circular arcs, transition curve as a motif railway routes, the calculation of detailed route points,..), Design height resolution (draft longitudinal profile lines), Proposal for construction of the railway superstructure, Design connection Design roadbed construction (E, thermal and ground water protection plan), Job characteristic cross sections and cross sections monorail (double track), assessment reports, drawings, objects, situations ...
