Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of this course is to acquaint students with issues of safety on the railway to areas articulated vehicle, infrastructure and human factor. An integral part will be familiar with the statistics of accidents, accident monitoring system in the CR and abroad, with the methods and analysis procedures DN, the methods of risk identification. Attention is also paid to active and passive vehicle safety. The course is primarily to gain knowledge about different types of railway systems and security equipment, security capabilities, railway crossings, risk factors at railway crossings, including related legal and technical standards requirements for barrier-free transport constructions.
