Students will learn the basic terms of transport geography, traffic systems, and the effects of geographic factors on transportation. It will be the global transportation of all types.

Summary

Předmět Dopravní geografie se zabývá základní rozdělením geografie z dopravního hlediska, popisuje a vysvětluje pojmy dopravní cesta, dopravní linka, dopravní tah, dopravní body a uzly, dopravní síť, dopravní a přepravní svazky, frekvence a rychlost dopravy a přepravy, dopravní poloha a zázemí. Dále popisuje jednotlivé dopravní systémy a vliv geografických faktorů na dopravu. Zabývá se rovněž lokalizací dopravních zařízení a vývojem dopravní sítě. Poslední část je zaměřena na světovou dopravu všech typů.

Other requirements

At least 70% attendance at the exercises. Absence, up to a maximum of 30%, must be excused and the apology must be accepted by the teacher (the teacher decides to recognize the reason for the excuse). Tasks assigned on the exercises must be hand in within the dates set by the teacher.

Subject syllabus:

The basic division of transport geography, notions transport route, transport line, transport route, transport points and nodes, transport network, transport and freight volumes, frequency and speed of traffic and transportation, the location and facilities, transportation systems, and the impact of geographic factors on transportation, location transport equipment and the development of transport networks, global transportation of all types.
