Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The goal is to become familiar with factors influencing the travel behavior of users, interaction with the vehicle and the other participants. Students will be acquainted with the possibilities to minimize risks.

Summary

The course is focused on detailed description of the factors influencing the transport behavior on the part of the individual himself, his interaction with the vehicle, other participants in traffic and the traffic environment overall. In addition, they discussed various specific categories, such as sources of human error in the traffic environment, the effects of fatigue, monotony, risky behavior, aggression etc. Students get an overview of the human factors in transport and the possibilities of minimizing risks in the design of the traffic environment through a maximum tune to the needs of the user. Students will learn the fundamentals of sociology, which affect the operation and function of the body of the city.

Other requirements

At least 70% attendance at the exercises. Absence, up to a maximum of 30%, must be excused and the apology must be accepted by the teacher (the teacher decides to recognize the reason for the excuse). Tasks assigned on the exercises must be hand in within the dates set by the teacher.
