Summary
The course deals with the collection, processing and further distribution of traffic data needed to create traffic management systems. It introduces the technologies used by the legal and technical regulations in this area and the process of traffic data.
By completing the course, students acquire knowledge about the systems and technologies for the collection of traffic data on roads, processing centers in the transport and traffic engineers and their use not only for traffic flow, but also for prediction and planning processes related to the development of transport infrastructure.
To illustrate the issues will be taught in the classroom included thematic excursions - for example, of the National Traffic Information Centre in Ostrava.
