Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

With the help of social and geographical regionalization of knowledge of transport geography graduate will be able to optimize network traffic based on transport services at any scale. Part of the course is the application of the analytical techniques and familiarization with the major geographical and sociological theories. The second aim of this course is to acquaint students with the preparation of buildings, construction preparation process at all stages of construction, and pre-project, design and implementation and to apply acquired knowledge and skills. Passing students will practice skills to formulate solutions and to find possible problems, compile a basic design process and solution preparation, including construction of necessary connections, apply knowledge and skills to solve simple problems in the field of construction preparation.

Summary

Learning outcomes of the course unit The subject acquaints with approaches to traffic planning and transport networks and solutions for transport services of regions, municipalities, towns and urban areas. The subject includes knowledge of transport geography and transport sociology. The graduate will be able to analyze and optimize the transport networks in order to improve the quality of transport services. Students will also get acquainted with the procedures and practical knowledge in the process of project preparation of buildings, the scope of the state administration, the scope of discussion with the state administration bodies, the documents for the selection procedures for the documentation processors and the contractor. The basic act will be the Act on Building Act as amended, the implementing decree and other related regulations.
