At least 70% attendance at the exercises. Absence, up to a maximum of 30%, must be excused and the apology must be accepted by the teacher (the teacher decides to recognize the reason for the excuse). Tasks assigned on the exercises must be hand in within the dates set by the teacher.

Subject syllabus:

1. Dynamics tasks in the building industry. Applicability of dynamic tasks. 2. Calculation models. Coordinate systems. Degrees of freedom. 3. Definition of basic terms: rigidity, compliance, attenuation, linear and non-linear oscillation, ďAlembert principle. 4. Dynamic loading. 5. Oscillation of systems with one degree of freedom - attenuated and non-attenuated free oscillation. 6. Oscillation of systems with one degree of freedom - attenuated and non-attenuated forced oscillation. 7. Oscillation of systems with n degrees of freedom – free and forced oscillations. 8. Applying computational methods in solutions to dynamic tasks. 9. Adjustment of dynamic systems. 10. Free oscillation of a rod with continuously distributed mass. 11. Forced oscillation of a rod with continuously distributed mass. 12. Koloušek’s deformation method. 13. Effects of impulse loading. 14. Effects of surge loading.
