Summary

Students will improve their knowledge and skills in computational modelling of structures. A special attention will be payed to problems connected with different materials and types of structures.

Compulsory literature:

1. Zalka, K. A.: Modern structural analysis: modelling process and guidance, Taylor & Francis, 2000

Recommended literature:

1. http://elearning.scia-online.com/en/ 2. EN 1992-1-1 EUROCODE 2: Design of concrete structures – Part 1: General rules and rules for buildings. European standard, 2006; 3. EN 1993-1-1: Eurocode 3: Design of steel structures: General rules and rules for buildings, 2005 4. EN 1995-1-1: Eurocode 5: Design of timber structures: Common rules and rules for buildings, 2004
