Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Ability to solve special problems of mechanics in civil engineering. Ability to select and use of proper computational model for these problems.

Summary
The subject is focused on numerical solution of problems in civil engineering mechanics which cannot be solved by common approaches. The attention is given to parametrization of solution, to special models of non-linear behavior and to use of contact problems in structural mechanics.
