Ability to create numerical models of 1D and 2D structures, ability to select proper load and supports models. Ability to understand and assess the results.

Summary

The subject improves student's knowledge in the area of numerical modelling of structural behaviour. It includes: creation of models with loads and suppports, non-linear investigation of structural behaviour (including constitutive modelling).

Subject syllabus:

1. Opakování základních vztahů a principů metody konečných prvků 2.Přehled software pro metodu konečných prvků, úvod do tvorby výpočetních modelů 3. Modely pro rovinné úlohy 4. Modely pro deskové a skořepinové a prostorové konstrukce 5. Modely prutových konstrukcí 6. Interakce mezi prutovými a plošnými a prostorovými konečnými prvky 7. Srovnání a interpretace výsledků získaných pomocí různých modelů 8. Výpočetní postupy pro nelineární úlohy 9. Geometricky nelineární úlohy 10. Fyzikálně nelineární úlohy
