Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The student will acquire basic knowledge and skills in the field of thermal engineering and energy evaluation of buildings. They will learn to assess building structures and buildings according to the thermal and energy requirements of applicable legislation in the field. Can solve computational tasks using special software. The student will gain the ability to design and assess thermal technical requirements for building structures and energy label for a family house, to design appropriate energy saving measures with regard to economic return. They will get acquainted with the principles of determining the energy performance certificate of buildings.
