Summary
The course deals with methods for energy evaluation of buildings, the legislative requirements.
Energy evaluation for project activities and energy audits. Energy evaluation of the operation of heating and ventilation systems for the preparation and distribution of hot water, lighting systems, pumps and fans, cooling systems, technological equipment and other energy products. Design energy-saving measures. Software applications for energy calculations.

Subject syllabus:
1st Introduction - the energy performance of buildings legislation, the basic concepts
2nd Thermal assessment of building structures
3rd Heat transmission building envelope - the average heat transfer coefficient, a norm requiring the label covers the building, class building envelope heat transfer
4th Specific loss of transmittance - envelope, unheated space, side unheated spaces, entrances to the adjacent soil, ISO 13789, and scatter factor linear thermal bridge heat and thermal binding
5th Specific ventilation heat loss (12 831 and 13790), total heat loss, heat output according to IEC 12831
6th Terms and definitions, energy balance, the zone rules for the distribution zone, adiabatic limit, the heat flow between zones
7th Heat gains - Internal, External (13790, TNI), the calculation of heat loss and solar passive features of the building envelope (wall trombeho, winter garden, with opaque prky transparent insulation)
8th Examples: specific heat loss, the average coefficient of heat transmission, solar gains in winter garden, energy balance zaskelní
9th Calculation of the demand for heating - degree days (by STU Ptáková), documents, EN ISO 13790 (the example of Building Physics - Chap. 15), the effectiveness of resource efficiency distributions, the coefficients of the actual operating conditions

1st Introduction - acquainted with the program LOSS 2007 for calculating heat loss and
evaluation of thermal properties of the building.
a) Calculation of heat loss in accordance with EN 12831st
b) Heat transmission building envelope - the calculation of the average coefficient
heat buildings and building assessment to ČSN 730540th

2nd The envelope method - the effect of continuous and intermittent heating effect
