Summary

The aim of the course is to consolidate students' knowledge from a practical point of view in the field of building and sanitary engineering. Emphasis is placed on acquiring the methods of connection, technical solutions and measurement of physical quantities from the field of Building Service-Systems, TZB. Especially in the field of ventilation and air-conditioning of buildings, heating of buildings, hydraulic balancing of systems, heat pump connection, solar energy utilization (photothermics and photovoltaics), acoustics and other applications leading to the reduction of energy performance of buildings.

Literature from courses: • Energy systems of buildings • Ventilation and air conditioning • Thermodynamics • Building Service-Systems (TZB) I, II • Acoustics Measuring quantities and laboratory equipment of the Department of Indoor Environmental Engineering and Building Services (Research and Innovation Center, National Wooden Cluster, NDK) and Research Energy Center of the VSB - Technical University of Ostrava.

Recommended literature:

The subject is without specific reference literature. For each measurement, however, the requirements are individual.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Continuously processed and submitted tasks from individual measurements.

At least 70% attendance at the exercises. Absence, up to a maximum of 30 %, must be excused and the apology must be accepted by the teacher (the teacher decides to recognize the reason for the excuse). Tasks assigned on the exercises must be hand in within the dates set by the teacher.

Subject syllabus:

The course is specialized to strengthen students' knowledge in terms of practical aspects in the field of HVAC systems and sanitary. Emphasis is placed on learning the ways of participation, technical solutions, and measurement of physical quantities in the field of building services. Above all, however, ventilation and air-conditioning facilities, space heating, hydraulic balancing system, the involvement of heat pumps, solar energy (photovoltaics and phototermics) and other leading applications to reduce the energy consumption of buildings. The subject consists of theoretical (numerical) and practical (measurement). Teaching takes place in the classroom, in the experimental center, where the hyraulic wall and other components from the buildinb services-systems area are available, as well as in the field (eg measurement of acoustic quantities).
