Fundamentals of measurement and control for communication with the designers of instrumentation, the draft regulation of heating systems - hydraulics

Summary

Regulation and regulatory system, the basic types of control, sensors, control of heating systems, characteristics of control valves and their sizing, control valve, three-way and four-way valves, differential pressure regulator, heating circuits, heat sources, cascade generators, distributors, preparing heat water.

Compulsory literature:

TA Hydronics system - BALANCING OF CONTROL LOOPS - A manual for getting the correct function of 23 control loops used in hydronic heating and cooling systems. ČSN EN 12828

Recommended literature:

Regulations and standards of the issue.

Other requirements

Students prepare individually specified programs. At least 70% attendance at the exercises. Absence, up to a maximum of 30%, must be excused and the apology must be accepted by the teacher (the teacher decides to recognize the reason for the excuse). Tasks assigned on the exercises must be hand in within the dates set by the teacher.

1 Physics of Building Services, 2 Control system , types of control , static and dynamic characteristics of the RS 3 control valves , flow rate , flow characteristics , authority, control ratio 4 -way and three-way control valves , actuators , pressure relief valves , non-return flap 5 expansion vessel , safety valve , calculation , installation procedure 6 characteristics of the system and oběhovéhbo pump system with constant and variable flow 7 design and calculation of control valves, balancing systems 8 hydraulic circuits with passive primary circuit with active primary circuit 9 TRV , proportional band , weather-compensated control 10 differential pressure control , integration , design and balance 11 automatic balancing valves , control valves with pressure- independent plug 12 Standard EN 12828 13 boiler and DHW , circulation, TV , wiring,
