Summary

The course is to strengthen students' knowledge in terms of practical aspects of HVAC systems and sanitary. Emphasis is placed on learning the ways of participation, technical solutions, and measurement of physical quantities of the building services (building interior installations). Above all, the field of ventilation and air-conditioning facilities, space heating, hydraulic balancing system, the involvement of heat pumps, solar energy (photovoltaics and pfototermics) and other leading applications to reduce the energy performance of buildings.

Literature of subjects: • Building Energy Systems • Ventilation and Air-conditioning (HVAC) • Thermodynamics • Building Services I, II • Acoustic Measuring of values and equipment in laboratories of the Department of Indoor Environmental Engineering and Building Services (Research and Innovative Centre MSDK) and Energy Research Centre VSB - Tecnical University of Ostrava.

Recommended literature:

The subject is free of specific recommended literature. There are individual requirements for each measurement in the lesson.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Preparing on the mensuration in the lessons and quick knowledge test from the measurement in the day.

Other requirements

At least 70% attendance at the exercises. Absence, up to a maximum of 30 %, must be excused and the apology must be accepted by the teacher (the teacher decides to recognize the reason for the excuse). Tasks assigned on the exercises must be hand in within the dates set by the teacher.

The course is specialized to strengthen students' knowledge in terms of practical aspects in the field of HVAC systems and sanitary. Emphasis is placed on learning the ways of participation, technical solutions, and measurement of physical quantities in the field of building services. Above all, however, ventilation and air-conditioning facilities, space heating, hydraulic balancing system, the involvement of heat pumps, solar energy (photovoltaics and phototermics) and other leading applications to reduce the energy consumption of buildings. The subject consists of theoretical (numerical) and practical (measurement).
