Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of the course is to deepen knowledge and skills in the building thermal technology. Students will become familiar with other computer programs and calculation procedures exploited in the thermal protection of buildings and in the energy of buildings: ANSYS (thermal analysis of building structures for stationary and non-stationary conditions boundary conditions, CALA (temperature field solutions, a program of the company DEKTRADE - calculation of heat properties of building structures and calculating the energy performance of buildings, Designbuilder program - energy simulation of the heat load in the indoor environment.

Summary

The course complements the building thermal technology. It deepens students' knowledge in the areas of: calculating and modeling hygrothermal conditions within the walls and indoor climate modeling 1D, 2D, 3D heat fluxes for steady and unsteady heat conduction, heat transmission, distribution and transport humidity, airflow, air permeability of building envelopes.

Subject syllabus:

1. Heat , basic concepts and laws , heat conduction, boundary conditions, sharing examples of heat conduction 2. Heat transfer by convection and radiation , examples 3. analytical solution determine the lowest internal surface temperature structure of thermal transmittance ( HEAT 2011 DEKTRADE ) 4. Numerical modeling of structures in a graphical preprocessor (2D ) lowest surface temperature on the surface structure (AREA 2011) , the award program 5. Numerical modeling of structures in a graphical preprocessor (2D ) - thermal bridges , thermal bonding, heat transfer coefficient, linear thermal transmittance 6. issue of 3D modeling and comparison with 2D ( CUBE3D ) . 7 to 9 unsteady thermal state - numerical modeling of structures in ANSYS , CALA Professional 10 to 11 Analytical calculation and modeling hygrothermal behavior of building structures - the program TEPLO 2011 AREA 2011 WUFI . 12. -13. Simulation calculation of indoor environmental quality - program SIMULATION 2011. 14. Credit
