Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The goal is to increase students' practical skills field - acquaintance with a measuring device, measuring principles of noise and other acoustic variables, practical acoustic measurements.

Teaching methods

Experimental work in labs

Summary

The course includes practical measurement of acoustic individual practical tasks - measurement of noise levels from stationary sources in the outdoor environment, measurements of airborne and impact sound insulation of building structures, measuring reverberation time.

Compulsory literature:

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

The output of the semester work will be processing logs from measurements of acoustic quantities.

E-learning

Other requirements

At least 70% attendance at the exercises. Absence, up to a maximum of 30%, must be excused and the apology must be accepted by the teacher (the teacher decides to recognize the reason for the excuse). Tasks assigned on the exercises must be hand in within the dates set by the teacher.
