Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The subject aim is the repetition of the secondary school mathematics, balancing the knowledge of mathematics among students from different types of secondary schools.

In this course, students will revise and consolidate their knowledge of the secondary school mathematics: sets, algebraic expressions. functions, their properties and graphs, equations and inequalities, analytic geometry.

Subject syllabus:
1. Sets, set operations, sets of number, intervals. Algebraic expressions.
2. Functions: the function definition and the properties of functions. Graphs.
3. Functions: linear, quadratic.
4. Functions: power, rational.
5. Functions: exponential, logarithmic.
6. Trigonometric functions.
7. Equations: linear, quadratic.
8. Equations: with absolute value, irrational.
9. Exponential and logarithmic equations.
10. Trigonometric equations.
11. Inequalities. Domains of composite functions.
12. Analytic geometry in the plane I: point, vector, line (parametric form of equation of a line, general equation of a line, slope-intercept form of the equation of a line)
13. Analytic geometry in the plane II: Conic: circle, ellipse, hyperbola and parabola.
14. Reserve.
