Summary

-Fotoelasticimetry. Straight and circularly polarized light, isoclinic and isochromatic lines -Method of shear stress difference. Spatial photoelasticimetry. -Tensometry. Types of strain gauges and measuring instruments. Properties and calibration of strain gauges. -Tensometer bridge. -Tensometric sensors. Measurement of force, weight, pressure. Torque measurement. - Measurement of residual stresses - slitting and holle drilling method. - Moiré method. Principle of mechanical interference, types of moiré grids. Measurement elastic and plastic deformations. -Fotoplasticity Types of photoplasticimetric methods for measuring deformations based on isoclinic and isochromatic lines. Stress solution, application of plasticity theory, method of gradual approximation.
