Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim of the course is to provide students with basic vocabulary in English in the field. For this reason, compulsory literature is given only in English and there are two textbooks in Czech in the recommended literature (just for Czech students). Students will get an idea of the whole cycle of new product development. They will be able to apply the most commonly used product design methods. In the exercises, the aim is to teach students to use ANSYS Discovery Live software to optimize the shape of the proposed products. Subsequently, students will verify the acquired shape in SW ANSYS Workbench.
