Summary
The introductory semester of the course is aimed at consolidating previously acquired language skills (grammar, vocabulary) and speech skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing). Before enrolling in the course, students can check their language level in the placement test, which they have available after enrollment. The required minimum enrollment level for this four-semester course is A2. Students will work with the Navigate B1 Pre-intermediate course during the whole course (AJ1-AJ4), in the first semester they will master the first three lessons. The aim of the language exercises in this semester is also to help students become aware of the strengths and weaknesses of their language competence and are motivated to work on it independently. The textbook workbook will be used primarily for self-study, as well as supplementary activation materials in the Moodle system, which are available to students enrolled in the course.
