Summary

Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to design a conceptual design project of lower to medium size, which will reflect the experience gained during the previous studies. It is supposed to get the deepest knowledge of the given issue, correct determination of mutual relations: man - machine - environment. The aim is also to examine the level of knowledge and skills acquired so far in terms of digital design processing.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Students will elaborate a semestral task on the topic of industrial product design. The output will be drawings, computer visualization and physical model.

Subject syllabus:

1-2. Specification of the assignment (design of industrial product), analysis 3. – 4. Work on designing solutions; selection (consultation) 5. – 6. Completion of proposed drawing studies, verification working model 7. – 9. Visualization, completion of drawing documentation 10. – 14. Development of a 3D model - a design mockup, submission and presentation of a complete project

Mandatory attendence participation: The knowledge of students is continuously verified during each lesson in the form of discussion and questions with the aim of actively involving students in the seminary. Students elaborate semestral works, which must be defended at the end of the semester.
