After completing the course, students should have • know important architects, sculptors and painters from 1750–1900 in Europe, and especially in the Czech lands; • know important buildings, sculptures and paintings from 1750–1900 in Europe, and especially in the Czech lands; • be able to write and defend a seminar paper on an art-historical theme.

Learning outcomes of the course unit The subject is focused on the history of art in the years 1750–1900 in Europe and the ability to write professional art history texts.
