Summary
The content of the course is the issue of creative expression using action and intermediate procedures. In lectures, students will learn about the history of intermedia art, its representatives and important works. During practical training they will try experimental, dialogical techniques of visual communication. They will learn to design their own art event, document it and prepare its presentation. The realization of a number of practical etudes will develop their creative thinking and the ability to make a distinctive presentation.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester
Attendance at least 70%. Test in the history of intermedia production with a minimum of 8 points out of 20. The defense of a semestral work (1 realization of land art type, 1 performance and 1 author's book). The exam is oral, questions correspond to the curriculum and the content of lectures. Credit in the form of a written test (min. 70%), active participation in lessons (min. 80%), regular homework, elaboration of assigned tasks.

1. The concept of action art, roots of action art (rituals, festivities, folk customs).
2. Practical examination of motion recording and energy transfer by drawing.
3. Elements of action art in futurism.
4. Drawing and painting dialogue.
5. Elements of action art in Dada.
6. Research of space-time constellations using motion structures.
7. Elements of action art in surrealism. Time-space constellation research - multimedia performance project
8. History of land art, representatives of world land art. Realization of multimedia performance.
9. History of land art, representatives of Czech land art. Land art project in the landscape.
10. The history of the FLUXUS movement. Fine arts and music, experimental scores
11. The concept of happening, history, representatives of examples. Creation of experimental musical instruments.
12. The concept of performance, representatives in the world. Realization of experimental concert. Critical analysis of outputs.
13. Performance representatives in our country. The project of own performative action.
14. Contemporary performances, representatives, festivals. Realization of own performative action.
