Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Students will learn the applications of pneumatic mechanisms in different industrial branches and for various operations. The description and function of different types of pneumatic mechanisms will be based on knowledge of a wide range of pneumatic components, their construction and function. They will be able to solve simple examples of compositions of pneumatic circuits and their analysis with the application of simple calculations. Thei will understand the interaction of load and control systems on function of pneumatic mechanism, and their simulations using the software and the practical realization of the trainers. They will get acquainted with basic problems of operation and maintenance of pneumatic mechanisms and basic processes for measuring and testing.
