Experimental work in labs

Summary

The course builds on the theoretical knowledge of fluid mechanics. Students learn more about the flow of liquids in pipes, the principles of graphic and numerical solution of simple and complex pipes. They acquire new knowledge about pipeline networks and analysis of flow in branched and circuit networks. Attention is also paid to work of a pump in the hydraulic system and its control.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Credit: During the course, students can obtain max 30 points for solution of individual programme and elaboration of lab report form experimental measurement. The minimum required for the credit is 20 points. Exam: The exam consists of a written and an oral part. The written part contains both calculation and test questions. The maximum number of points from written part is 30, the minimum number of points required to continue for the oral examination is 15 points. The oral part consists of two questions - for each correct question is 20 points. The student must demonstrate knowledge of both. Požadavky
