Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Students will learn the basic concepts of fluid mechanisms, the composition of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, basic hydraulic and pneumatic components, their functions, structures, characteristics, using in circuits. Based on this knowledge to understand the function of basic hydraulic circuits. They will be able to solve simple examples from the analysis of hydraulic circuits in steady state, and simple cases start with a hydraulic actuator material loads. Acquainted with the most widespread applications of hydraulic actuators for machines and equipment in industry, transport and other areas of human activity. They can compare advantages and disadvantages of different types of drives and select the best type of drive.

Summary
Students will learn about functions, structure, properties and applications fluid mechanisms. The course is divided the following parts: a general introduction, basic calculations of fluid mechanisms, elements fluid mechanisms (functions, structure, characteristics), hydraulic and
pneumatic drives and transmissions, including management, application of mechanisms of fluid production machines, construction and earthmoving machinery and mineral treatment
raw materials. The exercise is focused on the mechanisms of hydraulic calculations and laboratory measurements.
