Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the structure and function of pneumatic components and pneumatic systems. At the end of the course students should be able to design suitable linear pneumatic cylinder, rodless or semi-rotary motor, gripper or vacuum suction cup. They are also should be able to design and assemble a pneumatic circuit to control the working elements and to select the appropriate size of the elements for the correct operation of the mechanism.
