Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Students will become familiar with the methodology of solving master's thesis, the literature search and other documents using the Internet. They will be advised of the correct citation reference in accordance with applicable standards. During the consultations students will obtain accurate information about the assigned topic of the thesis.

Diplomový seminář zahrnuje zpracování literární rešerše k danému tématu diplomové práce. Bude mít formu technické zprávy. Ve vyhodnocení rešerše budou naznačeny možné alternativní způsoby řešení daného diplomového úkolu.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Na začátku semestru zadá vedoucí práce požadavky na zpracování rešerše diplomového semináře. Na konci semestru vyhodnotí správnost a kvalitu odevzdané práce a při hodnocení rovněž zohlední dodržení termínu odevzdání práce.

Subject syllabus:

1. Presentation of topics of master thesis, principles for elaboration of master thesis. Instructions for choosing a topic of master thesis. 2. Guidelines for recherche elaboration, electronic sources (Knovel, Springer link...), literature references according to ISO 690. 3 - 14. Recherche work for master thesis.
