Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

In the course Design of hydraulic mechanisms, students learn to solve basic problems of the synthesis of hydraulic circuits, ie. design of basic hydraulic circuits. They can suggest possible structures of the system with regard to functionality, accuracy of control, energy efficiency, environmental friendliness, operability, durability, operating costs and price.

Teaching methods

Other activities

The course Design of hydraulic mechanisms, students learn the principles of creativity in the design of simple and complex mechanical and technological equipment with hydraulic mechanizmem. Emphasis is placed on energy-saving hydraulic circuit structure, its high quality of energy and information transfer with respect to reliability, longevity and fulfillment requirements of the technological process. Particular emphasis is also placed on the design of parts of hydraulic circuits, their design, calculation of basic parameters and modeling of static and dynamic behavior of the hydraulic mechanism when changing input parameters of the machine.
