Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Student will learn about the mathematical methods, methods of simulation and modeling of hydraulic state quantities (pressure and flow rate) in case of the hydraulic liquid flow through hydraulic elements. Then he will able to compile the whole systems of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanic and electric elements and solve static and dynamic behaviour of these systems. For solving the program system Matlab-Simulink-SimHydraulics (Pneumatics, Mechanics) is used.

Summary

Subject deals with mathematical simulation methods of the flow in fluid element: -Numerical solution of simple RLC circuit using Matlab-Simulink, Matlab-Simulink-SimHydraulics. -Application of Laplace transformation on RLC circuit, frequency analysis, FFT method, stability. Solution of pipe fluid flow and other fluid elements using centralized parameters model (T and PI element). -Solution of pipe fluid flow using continuous distributed parameters model. Experimental investigation of fluid circuit dynamics, transitional characteristics and comparison with mathematical models. -Composition the elements into circuit, laws of junction and circuit, dynamics of resistive circuits, solution using Matlab-Simulink-SimHydraulics.

Subject syllabus:
