To teach the students the basic procedures and methods applied for the solution of technical problems of Continuum Mechanics. To ensure the understanding of teaching problems. To apply the gained skills in practice.

- Pohyb kontinua a jeho geometricky popis. Lagrangeuv a Euleruv zpusob po- pisu pohybu kontinua. - Pohyb jednorozmerneho kontinua. Pomerne prodlouzeni,zakon zachovani hmot- nosti, pohybova rovnice, zakon zachovani energie. - Mechanicka prace v ruznych souradnych soustavach. Sjednoceni formy zapisu. Kovariantni a kontravariantni slozky vektoru. - Vektorova baze, metricke tenzory. Sjednoceni formy zapisu zakladnich rov- nic pro ruzne druhy souradnic. - Transformace souradnic. - Geometricky popis deformace telesa. Greenuv tenzor pretvoreni, Cauchyho tenzor pretvoreni. - Vektorovy soucin a plosne elementy. - Rozbor napjatosti. Tenzor napjatosti. Mohrovo zobrazeni stavu napjatosti. Cauchyho kvadrika napeti.
