In this course, students theoretically and practically through the basics of CAD / CAM / CAE INVENTOR and its contribution to the work of the designer.

Subject syllabus:

Basic work on SGI workstations running IRIX. CAD / CAM / CAE system I-DEAS, the scope of recovery in the manufacturing process, application and management system. 3D modeling applications using I-DEAS Master Modeler. The philosophy of making assemblies and mechanisms of 3D environments and their animation. Teamwork in structures using computer support and network services. Generation of drawings from 3D objects. Basics of applications for finite element with Using I-DEAS Simulation. Examples of use of CAD / CAM / CAE systems in modern practice. Obtaining and processing information using computer technology in work designer.
